A small update, mainly tests of a new mode for modeling RNA structures with experimental constraints. Let us know if you see anything fishy!

Hello caesar1987,

Wondering whether this is an exception to the rule or a common problem.
I've only received non-symmetric 5.96's at R@h so far.

Have a nice day,
Path7.

One of the two tasks on my G5 Mac just got an error after finishing; the other one had just started:

The result hasn’t been reported yet.

You should also know that it ran straight through which I take to mean there is no checkpoint. Is this right? Eight hours is a very long time to go without checkpointing.

One of the two tasks on my G5 Mac just got an error after finishing […]

Same story—“file xfer error”—on the second task. And earlier today I noticed that my G4 had also got a similar error.

2tif__BOINC_GEOSOL_ABRELAX-2tif_-_3497_18 and 1dtj__BOINC_GEOSOL_ABRELAX-1dtj_-_3497_4 ended with Exit status 193 (0xc1) on my ppc Mac. There is a long stderr out for both mentioning a segmentation violation. The second wu also errored out on a windows machine, this time with Exit status -1073741819 (0xffffffffc0000005) Unhandled Exception Detected...

I have had trouble with this one. It got to .44% three times and stopped. The graphics didn't activate either. Every time it got to this point a message was sent to Ralph@home. I notice that I am the second person to fail on this work unit.

914765

1dtj__BOINC_GEOSOL_ABRELAX-1dtj_-_3497_10_1

I have had a few other ones that stopped also with no graphics but on exiting Boinc and restarting they completed without problems.

This time my ppc mac was able to complete a model but I notice that the first computer to try it, a intel mac , ended with another exit status 193(0xc1). I was able to open and view the graphics window without causing a problem.

1di2__BOINC_GESOL_LKSOL_MIX_ABRELAX-1di2_-_3497_13

I do realize it's not exactly the same type of wu but thought it might be sufficiently similar that a report could be helpful.

edit/ And another bites the dust. 1dcj__BOINC_GEOSOL_ABRELAX-1dcj_-_3497_18. Both attempts, one ppc mac, one windows, same errors as before. No attempt to look at graphics this time, at least by me.
