Minirosetta beta 3.43
(Message 5615)
Posted 18 Nov 2012 by Jacob Klein Post: I woke up this morning to find 8 tasks, version 3.43, doing nothing on my computer. Has 3.43 been stopped on the Ralph project? If not, why the heck not?!? I thought Rosetta stopped it, and is using 3.45. But Ralph is still sending 3.43 tasks?? Please fix. And please also implement a server-side task abort process. |

Minirosetta beta 3.43

Posted 14 Nov 2012 by Jacob Klein Post: This is quite a mess! For the machines I can easily change settings on... I've aborted any Ralph/Rosetta tasks, and have set the projects to No New Tasks.. until we get confirmation that it has been fixed. For the machines that I cannot easily change settings on... I guess they're stuck and are unable to process any work? I even think they won't even be able to work on other non-Ralph non-Rosetta projects! I hope this gets fixed quickly - VERY NASTY! |

Minirosetta beta 3.43

Posted 14 Nov 2012 by Jacob Klein Post: I am also having the problem where each task is opening up an additional popup window erroneously. My computer is working on 2 tasks from this project using application "Rosetta Mini 3.43". When the tasks start, they also open up their own windows, with titles that say "minirosetta version 3.43 [workunit: .....]" Additionally, it doesn't look like any processing is happening on these work units. CPU is idle. Quite annoying. I assume this a bug with the project's application? I guess it's our job to test, but this test failed hard. It didn't even gracefully exit - It just hung the computer out to dry, unable to process other projects even. Windows 8 Pro x64 BOINC 7.0.38 |
