Posted 23 Sep 2007 by ![]() Post: I start with a reminder that English is not my native language so sometimes it can sound harsh but it's the best I can do for now. As a start I would like to know more about what the project get back from the Wu when a wu goes down(fails) . What more info do they need from us to know why it failed. Reporting back to us users from the projetct , how can it improve? Should we be discussing credit issues , like not sending wu of certain sort to comupters that do them slow(to get optimal performans to the project and the users). When there is a problem on Ralph that 1 or maybe 2 computers come up against how many computers on Rosetta will have the same troubel? Anders n |

Posted 23 Sep 2007 by ![]() Post: Me too. I didn't see this one run. 88,519 seconds. 14 decoys. Shouldn't it have received credit for the 14 successful decoys? (I personally care zero about credits, but it's been an issue brought up on Rosetta by many recently, so I'm wondering if that is another aspect of this that we should be debugging here on Ralph) This is something we need to discuss more, in my oppinion, so I'm starting a thread about it in "Current tests". Posted 9 Aug 2007 by ![]() Post: In this type of vu "157d__BOINC_MINIMIZE_NOFLAGS_RNA_ABINITIO-157d_-_2295_834_0" the steps, accepted energi and accepted RMSD does not change after about 5500 steps in each model. But you can se the grafics move and the new dots comming in the right corner. Anders n Edit I think that can lead to that the wu's error out on heartbeat for slow computers. |
