this is our first update since a long time. In this update, we include for the first time a protein-protein docking application, which is to predict the structure of a protein complex given the individual structures are known.

Is it normal, that the WU is now counting in single steps the separate models?

Count up to nearly 100% for model 1, jump back to 10% and start with model 2 etc.

Edit - how many models can be included in 1 WU?

1st WU is done - no error message at the BOINC manager.

Looking into my reports:

DOCK_1AVW_unbound_perturb_benchmark_1315_13 show up a "validate error"

Biba - Inais.

Every DOCK wu I've looked up has had nothing but validate errors. Does anyone know of one that's completed & validated successfully?

All my results get a validate error too.

It looks that the validator does not know what to do with the new results.
I could not believe that all results are invalid.

I will also suspend ralph till there is an information from one of the programmers

Howdie,

i have a 24-hour-wu that already ran for ~4 hours. I suspended it, too - but what should i do? Will the validator be corrected or is it better to abort the wu?

First I had 3 WUs with 'Validate error'
And now each one is with 'Client error' / 'Computing'
In messages window I get:
2006-09-26 14:02:09|ralph@home|Unrecoverable error for result DOCK_1BVK_unbound_perturb_benchmark_1315_18_1 (Niepoprawna funkcja. (0x1) - exit code 1 (0x1))
'Niepoprawna funkcja' = incorrect function

Thanks for all the feedbacks and reports. I started working on adding docking into Rosetta@home only from recently and am still learning how Rosetta@home and boinc work. I will consult with other experienced project developers in Baker Lab to invesgigate these errors and come back soon with answers.

May be you could also think about if you will grant us credits for the validation error - wus?

I know its still alpha, but i wasted round about 10 hours cputime today. :(

The validator has been updated to handle the docking output file with a slightly diifferent format and a couple of returning results have been validated with the new validator.

Docking application is being checkpointed, but the percentage of completion shown on the graphic was updated incorrectly in docking. This will be fixed in the next updated version.

Thanks for everyone's effort again.
