I am running BOINC 5.2.13 which I can easily see in menu>Help. I see the occasional homepage News items to make sure we're running Ralph@Home v4.xx. How can I tell which version I have and how do I update the Ralph release? Thanks. |

The version of Ralph can be determined by looking in the BOINC manager Work tab, The column labeled "Application" will show the version number. If you are currently running version 4.90, you should abort any Work Units and reset the project. It should then download version 4.91 and fresh work as well. EDIT: The last result you turned in (March 2) you were running 4.90, and you currently do not have any WUs running. The 4.91 software should download by itself, but you can reset the project to force the new software to load if you want. Moderator9 RALPH@home FAQs RALPH@home Guidelines Moderator Contact |

...and if you have no work units at the time... you can look in your RALPH directory ex: C:Program FilesBOINCprojectsralph.bakerlab.org and see what version is shown in your .exe file's name. (If you display the details view in Windows Explorer, and sort by type (click the column heading), the one application comes to the top) For example: rosetta_beta_4.96_windows_intelx86.exe |
