I can´t finish it in time, so i looked into the messagesboard here and saw that a mod said bevor 200 days or so, that wus should not be abborted. Is this actually right or shall i abbort it? They are client vers 5.34 Please help me ;) Snake (sorry for my bad english^^) |

Another idea is to set your runtime preference back to a lower value that would allow you to complete the work. Update to the project, and then the uncompleted work will run with the new target. In fact, since v5.34 is already released on Rosetta, you might set your preference all the way down to 1 hour. 1) Suspend one task. 2) Update to project to get 1hr runtime preference (many tasks will take 3 or 4 hours anyway, but it will basically tell BOINC to just run 1 model and then end the task). 3) crunch all but the suspended task. 4) set runtime preference back to 24hrs. 5) update to project 6) release last task, it will run 24hrs or so and complete and update to the project and that should get BOINC to expect your future Ralph work to run for 24hrs, to avoid the problem in the future. |
