A bugfix to 1.73 - it slipped through the net. |

Still have massive Validation problems on one of my Hosts (was asked to join it at RALPH after seeing the same problems with Rosetta) : https://ralph.bakerlab.org/show_host_detail.php?hostid=18716 My best guess is that the installed Fedora 8 x86_64 has seen too many upgrades and requires a re-installation from scratch (downloading Fedora 11 x86_64 right now). The only odd thing is, that this host never ran into any Validation problems on any other Project (?!) If that doesn't help, I'm out of ideas. RAM was already exchanged, Vcore set back to Auto, cooling was improved (temps are well in the green). |

I've read that BOINC 6.6.36 finally did something related to the lockfile problem. No word yet on whether it fixes this problem, and since this version has problems with GPU use (as well as use under Linux), I'm not planning to try it. |

Still have massive Validation problems on one of my Hosts (was asked to join it at RALPH after seeing the same problems with Rosetta) : What version of BOINC are you running? If it's 6.6.36, note that it has known problems running properly under Linux. |

That is running Linux BOINC 6.4.5 x86_64 I'm now in the process of installing Fedora 11 from scratch, maybe the older Fedora 8 installation got a bit crapped out over time. |

That 1.76 task doesn't show graphics. At start (when "Show graphics" clicked on) the window is empty - black, after 1sec it closes. Name of the task is visible. Host ID 17945, WinXP x64. |

Next 1.76 task: lr5_E_rama_map_all_ss_iter04_notsq_rlbd_2hng_SAVE_ALL_OUT_10709_81_0 ended with a validate error. After rebooting my computer, this task (re)started from model 1 – according to the graphics. Have a nice day, Path7. |

Still have massive Validation problems on one of my Hosts (was asked to join it at RALPH after seeing the same problems with Rosetta) : ...update : System now underwent the following changes - new CPU - new RAM - new OS - HD freshly setup from scratch - maximized cooling ...still validation failures (RALPH and Rosetta). Apart from changing the case color or stuff like that, there's absolutely nothing I could do as this point. For that reason I've stopped running RALPH and Rosetta alltogether, seems these are deep buried problems that started sometime 2 years ago when general stability and furthermost reliability was notably decreased under x86_64 Linux. Sad to say that, but Rosetta just doesn't fulfill my min. stability requirements since those days... |
