Is out. But, team said: "It has been quite a long time since we've updated the application and we are worried about backwards compatibility so we created a minirosetta_beta application which is the updated app we are testing and the minirosetta application is the actual production application running on R@h" So is developing 2 different codes?? How long this situation? "backward compatibility" with??? |

We are not developing 2 code sets. The Rosetta Commons group which consists of numerous university institutions continue to develop a single code trunk of minirosetta. We take a snapshot of the code and test it as an updated minirosetta application version on Ralph. But we also use Ralph to test new jobs that we want to run on R@h for production so we added the "minirosetta_beta" application which represents the latest "snapshot" that we want to test before making it the production app on R@h. The "minirosetta" application is the exact production application currently being used in R@h and is used on Ralph to test new jobs for production. |
