Hmmm. The Server Status page shows 11 computers registered in past 24 hours at the moment and I just attached this windows laptop and received tasks. What does the event log have to say about the attach attempt? |

What does the event log have to say about the attach attempt? 16/12/2020 16:59:38 | | Fetching configuration file from https://ralph.bakerlab.org/get_project_config.php That's strange, i cannot understand. I copy/paste the log message from a machine and in the message the fetching configuration is from HTTP withour S , but when i paste here in the forum (and quote) the message, is from httpS://ralph.bakerlab.org/get_project_config.php . The machine is my wife notebook and, in the past, there is Ralph, but before introduction of HTTPS. Maybe the problem is this. Maybe i have to delete all the files and folder of the project |

Can you see https://ralph.bakerlab.org/get_project_config.php if click on it? The page should look something like this <project_config> <name>ralph@home</name> <master_url>https://ralph.bakerlab.org/</master_url> <web_rpc_url_base>https://ralph.bakerlab.org/</web_rpc_url_base> <web_stopped>0</web_stopped> <min_passwd_length>6</min_passwd_length> <sched_stopped>0</sched_stopped> <platforms> <platform> <platform_name>aarch64-unknown-linux-gnu</platform_name> <user_friendly_name>Linux running on 64-bit ARM</user_friendly_name> </platform> <platform> <platform_name>arm-android-linux-gnu</platform_name> <user_friendly_name>Android running on ARM</user_friendly_name> </platform> <platform> <platform_name>i686-pc-linux-gnu</platform_name> <user_friendly_name>Linux running on an Intel x86-compatible CPU</user_friendly_name> </platform> <platform> <platform_name>windows_intelx86</platform_name> <user_friendly_name>Microsoft Windows (98 or later) running on an Intel x86-compatible CPU</user_friendly_name> </platform> <platform> <platform_name>windows_x86_64</platform_name> <user_friendly_name>Microsoft Windows running on an AMD x86_64 or Intel EM64T CPU</user_friendly_name> </platform> <platform> <platform_name>x86_64-apple-darwin</platform_name> <user_friendly_name>Intel 64-bit Mac OS 10.5 or later</user_friendly_name> </platform> <platform> <platform_name>x86_64-pc-linux-gnu</platform_name> <user_friendly_name>Linux running on an AMD x86_64 or Intel EM64T CPU</user_friendly_name> </platform> </platforms> </project_config> If you can see that page, so should the BOINC Manager. Maybe try a full detach and re-attach to this project. |

If you can see that page, so should the BOINC Manager. Maybe try a full detach and re-attach to this project. I see correctly this page (httpS), but i cannot understand why manager, during project attach, give me error this link without "s". |

Solved!! I clear completely the Boinc folder (C:programdata) and update the client to the latest version. And now attach correctly! |
