Could be the same issue as on Rosetta with the broken IPv6 configuration. Edit- just tried it myself, and got the same result (using IPv4). If they cant's set the servers up so they work without having to do all sorts of workarounds, then they really don't want anyone here (or at Rosetta which is even more broken).
