Posted 16 Jan 2009 by sslickerson Post: Ok, so I did get 2 WU over night that both failed as usual on my laptop with Exit status -1073741819 (0xffffffffc0000005). This is Windows vista 64bit. The failed WU are: 1244381 1244380 This is the message in BOINC Manager: 1/16/2009 5:27:12 AM|ralph@home|Output file _CAPRI17_T38_2.sjf_br_docking.protocol__6705_4_1_0 for task _CAPRI17_T38_2.sjf_br_docking.protocol__6705_4_1 absent This is typical for all tasks of this type that fail. Let me know if there is anything else that is needed at this point. Timothy |

Bug reports for Ralph 5.42 and 5.43
(Message 2596)
Posted 12 Dec 2006 by sslickerson Post: I tried the same with Rosetta and had the *graphics window* open when the WU froze completely after about a minute of moving the graphics around. This has been typical of my computer. The WU progressed per usual with the screensaver on and no problems this time (although there has been in the past). I should note that with Rosetta WU I see more of this happen at 30 fps than any other number higher or lower than 30. Also, I didn't need to force the WU to error out as BOINC was visible on the task bar and so I just exited out. It later continued at its last checkpoint. |

Workunit Failure after opening graphics window
(Message 978)
Posted 25 Mar 2006 by sslickerson Post: This workunit was at 1% for ~5-7 hrs today. Everything was going fine (model 1, step increasing but very slowely) until I had to shut down for a reboot. I lost several hours of work becasue it didn't advance past 1% but that was expected. The issue at hand is that I tried to open the graphics window and then Ralph froze and errored out: 3/24/2006 10:58:38 PM|ralph@home|Unrecoverable error for result 0446_fullatom_relax_dec_0446_100.pdb_326_1_1 (Incorrect function.
