Yup, had 30 go the same way with me too. Seems they run for 10 seconds and then crash.

Second time as User of the Day - whoopeeeee!

As the top contributor from the UK and owner of the top UK based team it's a pleasure to be here. Ralph might not be one of the most popular of causes but I think our efforts are just as important as any other BOINC project.

Onward and upward

PS
Congrats to my soccer team, the mighty Glasgow Rangers, winning their 53rd National League title - a world record in the sport - and also their League Cup Final win this season. WATP

I've got 39 Rosetta Mini 2.00 results and 1 Rosetta Beta 5.98 that are all failing to report. I get:-

All the new series of WU's seem to be failing after a short time (1min - 15min). Files affected all have 'hombench_tex_' at beginning of ident.

This is happening on both my Vista machines with latest BOINC agent installed. I'm tempted to dump the remaining 50 or so files.

33 tasks arrived tonight and all failed on 'Computation error' after 3 seconds running.

All are james_abinito units with 't' prefix

Sorry about that, I sent out a batch with options for minirosetta version 1.32 rather than version 1.33. The offending workunits have been removed from the queue, and I'm sending out a new test set now.

No sweat James, fingers crossed I get some of the new batch too ;)

Please post issues/bugs relating to minirosetta version 1.33 here. Version 1.33 contains several scientific updates, and also addresses a problem related to workunits expiring more freqently following minirosetta application restarts.

I've had a couple of dozen validation failures in the last two days. All took around 4,000 secs of computing time. Now, I understand this is purely a 'testing' project, but as such it attracts more failures than any other program. Surely Ralph should be able to operate a 'points for time donated' system so, when we get a run like this, it doesn't punish us with no points.

It's not as if these points cost the project financially after all. Thoughts?
