Moderators Contact thread

Since there is no way for the user community to contact the moderators reliably, I have established this sticky. Hopefully this will reduce the number of new threads started solely for the purpose of attracting the attention of the moderation team to a problem or complaint.

This is a place for the user community to contact the moderators to provide feed back, ask for explanations for any moderator actions, request moderator actions, or get assistance that may require a moderator.

Feel free to post here, but note that after the issue is address the posts will be moved to an archive thread located here.

So think of this as a work queue for the moderation team. If the question is in this sticky and a moderator has not responded it has not yet been addressed.

I have not been able to enter my ID number or project URL to my BOINC application. I never received an email from you with the numbers and have tried to use the numbers which I found on my membership listing. It is not being accepted. Can you help?

Log into your account at ralph, then create a password under "your account", then open the attachement wizard and use https://ralph.bakerlab.org/ as the URL, then select "use existing account" and enter your email and newly created password.

When you change your password this will also trigger the server to send you a new e-mail which will contain your project ID number and the proper url.

Isn't about time for a moderator to review the various forums and decide which threads still deserve stickies?

Also, isn't it time to put a link to the minirosetta 1.58 bug reports thread on the home page?

Hello,

I'm writing on behalf of our Teamfounder MichaelR as he asked for some help with English in our Forum.

I'm writing to ask if someone can help us with an Issue regarding our Team SETI.Germany at the RALPH@home BOINC Project.

Our Teamfounder [SG-SPEG]MichaelR.(/url] wanted to adjust our Website-URL, which has changed recently. He made a Mistake and used a Dash (-) instead of a Point (.) in the Teamname. So now the Team is named SETI-Germany in the Stats. Unfortunately the Team was re-imported (as we guess) automatically from the BOINC-wide Teams Database.

For now we can see 2 Teams, one named [url=https://ralph.bakerlab.org/team_display.php?teamid=50]SETI-Germany
and another named SETI.Germany.

What I'm asking is if someone could please delete the re-imported Team SETI.Germany (Team-ID 1443) and rename our original Team (Team-ID 50) from SETI-Germany to SETI.Germany Just replace the Dash (-) with the Dot (.).

I'd appreciate very much if someone could help here or link this Request to another Person who can help us.

Thanks and
Best Regards

aendgraend
aka Andreas
