I have had trouble with this one. It got to .44% three times and stopped. The graphics didn\'t activate either. Every time it got to this point a message was sent to Ralph@home. I notice that I am the second person to fail on this work unit.

I have had a few other ones that stopped also with no graphics but on exiting Boinc and restarting they completed without problems.

This time my ppc mac was able to complete a model but I notice that the first computer to try it, a intel mac , ended with another exit status 193(0xc1). I was able to open and view the graphics window without causing a problem.

Dr. Who\'s Tardis beat me by 9 seconds!

I keep on getting task freezes using Mini-Rosetta 1.11 but not all the time.
The last problem task (1bq9A_BOINC_ABINITIO_IGNORE_THE_REST-S25-14-S3-4--1bq9A-_3476_2_1) was started on the 15/04/2008 at 01:16:38, and was going for over eight hours without any increase in the percentage complete column – that is it stayed at zero.
This failure type has occurred several times now, after which I either aborted the task or reset the project, but obviously to no avail as the problem keeps on occurring.
By the way, the Mini-Rosetta application, in such a situation, does not always relinquish the task after its allotted time but keeps on going ad nauseam, so stopping tasks from other communities, or Rosetta, from starting.

Don\'t know if it\'s a problem with my computer or WU, but this WU doesn\'t have any moving graphics, only native form is visible.

I just had a v5.96 task, t397__CASP8_JUMPAB_SAMPLE2_res1to79_SAVE_ALL_OUT_BARCODE_hom001__3906_12_0, crash on my Mac G5, error code -161, exit status 0x0. BOINC Manager had become unresponsive on failing to get an Internet connection (I think my ISP were tinkering with their servers); after I force-quit it there were still two rosetta_beta threads showing in Activity Manager.

The last couple of work units stalled at 21 seconds. BOINC Manger reported them running but there were no changes to completion times or percentage done.

I happened to open Activity Monitor on my dual-G5 Mac (OS v10.4.11) while a task was preëmpted, and it shows rosetta_beta_5.96_powerpc-apple-darwin using slightly over 1% of a CPU—although BOINC Manager (v5.10.45) displays its status as “Waiting to run” (about half done), and other apps, specifically einstein_S5R3 at the moment, show zero CPU usage under the same circumstances. Some kind of ‘thread leak’? FWIW the apps that are running now (at 90+% CPU each) are setiathome-enhanced and astropulse (SETI@home Beta).

Once I\'ve noticed in the logs \"Aborting task t419N_autoalign_IGNORE_THE_REST_renumbered_4290_6_0: exceeded disk limit: 531.22MB > 476.84MB\" - the disk space isue seems to be my fault, the free disk space went down to approx. my BOINC \"leave xxxx free\" preference. But still the \"Report to Microsoft\" dialogs should not appear.
