*I wonder why signature verification failed

Ps: On past I left one ISP "UOL" cause it was using a download "Accelerator"
*Namely a transparent proxy on the middle of the way, that "compress data"
**Very Good speed to surf the web !

The bad news is that the way it compress data was not completely transparent
and after several hours downloading a CD-image (iso)
that image arrived corrupted and I burned a CD with it to put the CD on trash

However the real reason that caused me to left, was not that burned CD,
*but that I do *not* have an option to *use or not use* that accelerator
eg: specfying explict a proxy:port on the browser
and several other files keeps arriving unusable .zip .exe .bz2 .rar .gz etc.

Thus,
I wonder IF some of the above nodes , traceroute listed ,
are doing something fancy with their traffic data too, (as UOL do)
