I'm crunching also a wu on my smartphone...

Wu at 11% of computation restarts from 0%. This happens 3 times...at the end i kill this wu.

Yeah, those WUs seem to have a fairly large (low) restart threshold. Got two jobs on my laptop, running for about an hour and when I restarted my laptop today, they both started at 0% again. Theoretically they should finish before I have to leave and hit the road again, hope that they don't start all over again when I get back.

Strange behaviour of the last set of (4) WUs. They are running now for a bit more than 2h, showing around 24% done but only a few odd minutes of elapsed runtime, and only a few (23) seconds of CPU time and supposedly no checkpoint reached yet... :?
Running on Windows 8.1/64, with 6GB of RAM and not much else going on on the machine right now...

Anyone there and care to explain?

recent 8 tasks on 3.52 completed without errors.
i did a project reset and aborted the next set of tasks (as the 'old' binaries for 3.52 gets downloaded again), note it's not due to any errors.

should my client download 3.53 beta rather than 3.52 as it seemed both versions appear in apps?
http://ralph.bakerlab.org/apps.php

it seemed that the current set of tasks downloads the associated 3.52 binary rather than 3.53

ok, the 4 WUs that I got have by now repeatedly restarted from scratch, even at though at one point showing almost 30% done.
And I noticed that those WUs are trashing the hard drive like crazy...

ok i found the app files at http://ralph.bakerlab.org/download/

as it turns out on ralph 3.52 and 3.53 beta seemed to be the same files
md5 sum app
dcb06f5cf47637f6af2759a40c5b0cdb minirosetta_3.52_x86_64-pc-linux-gnu
dcb06f5cf47637f6af2759a40c5b0cdb minirosetta_beta_3.53_x86_64-pc-linux-gnu

and this same version (supposedly beta) is apparently running in 'production' rosetta@home
md5 sum app
dcb06f5cf47637f6af2759a40c5b0cdb ../boinc.bakerlab.org_rosetta/minirosetta_3.52_x86_64-pc-linux-gnu

would admin like to confirm/clarify this?

Yes, they are the same version with the exception of the Android app. We are mainly trying to get some data from android platforms to get an idea of success rates etc.

I am currently running a bunch of WUs already on two windows machines. None the less, I am getting a "Rosetta Mini Beta is not available for your type of computer." message when my computers are looking for new work.

Could anyone elaborate? Has there been some sort of change in the last hour or so?

All to do with "relax_xxxx.x_ralph_test_bbonly_" type work units (where xxxx.x changes).

I am also getting this message on my Windows XP 32 Bit computers, and can't get any work.

I've deprecated the minirosetta_beta app on all platforms except for android to facilitate debugging the android app.
