When you release a new client or new feature for testing, put a new post up saying so.

Means we know what's happening and what to test and look out for next, also we can force an update at the time.

How long can it take to make a post ;-)

I updated the windows application today. The previous version was a debug build that was running far too slow to provide useful information. Many of the reported 1% bugs were likely work units that were not reaching the checkpoint before being preempted.

The current Windows version (4.91) is a release build (built with visual studio 2005) that I hope will handle most of the buffer overflow and nested exceptions that we are seeing.

RALPH version 5.01 has been release for Windows, Mac and Linux systems. I have been provided no information as to weather you should finish the Work units you may have now or abort them. My advice would be to finish them, but the Project team may change this.

[color=darkred]RALPH version 5.01 has been release for Windows, Mac and Linux systems.

It's nice they are working so quickly on improving the application. I have stopped work on the regular Rosetta@home and put all my resources on Ralph, so as to help come up with a reliable base application as soon as possible.

Rosetta Mini updated to 1.11 is not in news...

Neither is mini 1.10 which was a few days ago...
But since the application is updated very frequently now (for the next few weeks) I think the staff has decided not to make a new topic about every update. (Which I have to agree makes sense if the updates keep on coming every few days apart.)

Although I understand why there has been no news I still would like to know where we are going so Staff, maybe you could give us some update every now and then? I don't mean after every single update you make (it's quite useless if updates are frequent) but still, maybe a once a week update about what has happened in a past week with the program?
