It only took them close to 8 hr's to it though. This was a problem on all my PC's, the other Projects that I am running had no problem Uploading their WU's right after finishing a WU. Maybe it's just something on the Server side ... ??? I ended up Aborting 48 WU's that showed Canceled already in the WU ID Pages & had 42 WU's that Erred out after Completing Successfully. From my Results Pages it looks like only about 25 give or take a few out of the 115 of the v4.87 WU's that I got actually Completed & Reported successfully ...

Something else I've noticed with the v4.87 is that they don't like to Upload either. Even if they finish successfully they will sit on my Pc's for hours doing nothing, it's like they are not even trying to Upload. If I try to Manually Upload them I get the same results, no message shows up that they will Retry or anything ... ???
23) Message boards : Feedback : Creating work for Ralph (Message 427) Posted 21 Feb 2006 by STE\/E Post: By setting a low quota this limits the number of wu that can be downloaded in any one day ========= Thats how the PrimeGrid Project allots the WU's, although once you crunch for a few days the allotment is quite generous. But the Quota for RALPH could be set at a certain amount & left there instead of rising like it does at the PrimeGrid Project. But then I suppose you would have to brace yourself for the onslaught of whining that would come from doing that by people wanting more WU's. I can live with whatever the Project wants to dole out, thats what the other Projects are for I figure, to take up any slack I might encounter here or at another Project.

(Message 420) Posted 21 Feb 2006 by STE\/E Post: Something I have noticed with my Computers is that BOINC quits running when it can't connect to the Ralph Server while trying to Upload a WU. It has happened to quit a few of my Computers more than once. There will be a Message showing asking if I want to retry connecting but it does no good to press Yes or No. The boinc.exe & WU's are already gone from the Process Manager, the only thing showing is the boincmgr.exe in the Process Manager by the time I see the Message. I don't have this happening with any of the other Projects I run so I guess it's related to RALPH exclusively...???
25) Message boards : RALPH@home bug list : Report \"stuck at 1%\" bugs here (Message 362) Posted 20 Feb 2006 by STE\/E Post: I finally have (or had) a WU hang @ 1% for 6:30:20. I restarted BOINC to see if it would get past the 1% mark but it has run for 30 min's now & it's still hung @ 1%. I Suspended it for now to run out the rest of the WU's on that Computer.
